Your Questions, Answered

What’s the difference between composite and porcelain veneers?

Composite veneers are sculpted directly onto the teeth in a single visit, making them ideal for minor corrections or more conservative smile makeovers. Porcelain veneers are ultra-thin, custom-made ceramic shells that offer enhanced durability, aesthetics, and stain resistance.

How do I know which cosmetic treatment is right for me?

It all starts with a consultation and Smile Preview. We’ll assess your goals, bite, and facial aesthetics, then show you a custom digital mock-up of your future smile—so you can explore options with clarity and confidence.

Will cosmetic dentistry damage my natural teeth?

Not at The Smile Formula. We take a minimally invasive approach that preserves as much of your natural tooth structure as possible. Treatments like composite bonding, clear aligners, and no-prep veneers are all designed with your long-term oral health in mind.

How long do cosmetic treatments last?

It depends on the treatment. Porcelain veneers can last 10–15 years or more with proper care, while composite bonding typically lasts 5–7 years. We’ll walk you through care and maintenance to keep your smile looking its best long term.

Where are you located?

Our dental practice is located at 2288 Granville St, Vancouver.

Can I pay with dental insurance?

Insurance doesn't typically cover procedures that are considered cosmetic. If there are any parts of your treatment that could be covered, we will gladly provide paperwork and assistance to submit for reimbursement.
